Vacation 2012 Morning after second night.

Well we got up around 8 or so and took advantage of the continental breakfast.  It was satisfactory.  We showered, packed, left, stopping for gas.  We embarked from Grand Junction around 9:30am.  The drive was pretty uneventful which was nice.  We rolled into Monroe around 1pm.  The rest of the family had left for Vegas so we had my parents house to ourselves for an hour or so.  So we spent that time resting, eating ice cream and waiting.  Mom arrived around 2:15 and Dad showed up around 3:30 or so.  We quickly gathered our things for the 3rd leg of the trip.  We left around 4:30 pm I think, stopped in St. George for a quick bite and top off.  Then arrived in Vegas around 9 (thanks to the gained hour).  The hotel overbooked or something so we got moved over to another hotel.  It would have been nice to have a little more time to enjoy the pool but oh well.  We are getting ready to complete the final leg of our epic quest, Carlsbad, CA.  I got two emails from work this morning.  They should know better. OFF THE GRID.
