It's our first night of our summer vacation to San Diego. We are in Grand Junction, staying at the Econo Lodge budget hotel. I guess for sixty bucks you can't expect much, but it smells like armpits. Other than that, its okay I guess. We left Denver around 8:30pm. The drive was uneventful, with little traffic on the road; always welcome. I think there's something up with the speedometer, though. I locked the cruise 5mph above and still passed cars like they were standing still. I can fully endorse 5 hour energy shots. Kept me wide awake and alert and none of the shakiness and strung out feeling you get with nodoze. Plus it works and tastes pleasant. Ben asked "Are we there yet?" about 20 min into the trip. Alex lasted about an hour. The next couple of days will be an exercise in patience, I think. Tomorrow we will meet up with my parents in Monroe and travel to Las Vegas to spend the night. Lots of driving, but an excellent opportunity to test 5 hour shots more thoroughly.
