So, yesterday, Cynthia and I celebrated 6 years as a married couple. How the time does fly. We celebrated a little early on Saturday with dinner and a movie.
For dinner we elected to go to the Texas Roadhouse. And let me just say something right here: we were introduced to the Texas Roadhouse right around Christmas 2007. We've been back at least 4 times since then. Every. Single. Time. My food is rocking, the service is rocking, and apart from this last time, we get in under 15 minutes. Did I mention the food? Holy crap is it good. And at awesome prices. Kudos to you, Texas Roadhouse.
For the movie we saw "21". Going into the movie, my expectations were pretty low. In fact, I was just hoping to see "Iron Man" and "Incredible Hulk" trailers. Cynthia has a little infactuation going with Jim Sturgess, the lead. In fact, I think that's the only reason we went to see it. But it was pretty entertaining. Good choice, hon! Some good twists, ins-and-outs of counting cards (at least it leads me to believe it, it could be all BS.) and a happy ending. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.
It hasn't been without it's bumps and surprises, but it's been the best 6 years of my life. My wife took a pretty big chance on me and I hope it hasn't been too disappointing. Ha, she still is taking chances on me. But I love her with all my heart and have never regretted the day we wed. She is my rock when I'm not hers. I love you hon.

very nice, Alex. Under your bluff, you're just a romantic at heart!! And Cynthia, I echo Erin's comments - thanks for joining the family. You are a dear!
Oh, by the way - that comment by "the cottle's - it's from Johanna - I'm at Mom & Dad's this week and using Dad's computer.
Haha i just realized. You say that downloading p2p is sketchy, but then you give them the link to download all the stuff they want through utorrent... lol
well, p2p is a legitimate downloading platform. Many programs are distributed using it. Sun's OpenOffice, virtually every Linux disto, and many others.
And for the record, cynthia probably doesn't read this blog. this is more for my nerd/geek alter-ego... did i say alter-ego?
congrats on the 6 years. all i have to say is cynthia is a strong woman! haha just kidding.
Well how freakin' cute is that???? You used to be such a goober!
