We slept in until ten in the morning, missing breakfast but I was still full from the late (normal) dinner. Felix picked us up at the hotel around noon and brought us back to his house. They had an asado already going. The house smelled of potatoes and grilling meat. It was awesome. We checked out the backyard; they have some hens and a rooster in the back, and two dogs. The meat was soon done and we ate.
After eating to capacity, we got in the car and we drove to Corrientes. We crossed a huge bridge spanning a river and parked near the beach. We drank máte and ate "Chipa"s, a fried or grilled bread they wrap around a 3 or 4 cm pole. We took a bunch of pictures and video. It was a little chilly and windy, but the scenery was great and I imagine it is full of people during the summer.
After a bit, we piled back into the and made the trip back. I still can't believe how insane they drive cars/motorcycles/scooters/bikes/people. It's absolutely crazy I have not seen and accident yet. Apparently it happens. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Nuts.
We made it back to the house and now we are màtenando. More later.
