This was an eMachine case that I slightly modded and replaced all the internalls, minus the CD/DVD Drives. It's a nice small, solid case. Cooling may be a little crappy, but I have yet to have real problems. Currently housing a killer Gigabyte 690G based Motherboard and an Athlon LE chip.

What are you using this machine for now? I take it that you aren't using it for the htpc? Do you have multiple 690g boards?
alex, thanks for the heads up on the printer. i picked one up this afternoon and so far, so good :) we have the WORST luck with printers - it's laughable (not really). this is our 4th in 4 years of marriage. we have the curse :)

Yeah, that's the gigabyte board. For now, it's in there while i decide what to do with the other home-made case. I just wasn't feeling it yet. I need to do some more work on it so i transfered everything into the eMachine and i plan on getting it online as the main HTPC in the house.

I'm glad you were able to get that printer. Hopefully it works out. We almost purchased one ourselves because it was such an awesome deal, but ours still works great (1210v) so we had to pass. They had a couple of different versions of the model (C and F). Did yours have a card reader and LCD screen built in? That was C. F was bottom of the line.
